Food Journal PPC (ARM) Publisher's Description
If you are tired of overblown food programs that give you everything from biorhythms to your horoscope when all you want to do is track the exact details of your meal and keep a total of nutrients by calendar day then this program is for you.
Some of the features include:
1. The ability to keep a full text memo of what you have eaten every day. As you pick the foods you have eaten from our huge database published by the USDA, it will add the text detail to a memo field. For example, the program will store that you have eaten: corn flakes, low sodium (corn) 1 cup, apple juice, unsweetened.
2. Food Journal will also numerically store the running totals of Protein (gm), Carbohydrates (gm), Sodium (gm), Total Fat (gm), Cholesterol (gm), and Calories.
3. Ability to add, update, and delete new food items and new food categories. You can make updates and additions to the database as you see fit. You can also put in the nutritional details of RECIPES that you have created. For example, you can create a food group called ?Mom?s Recipes? and include the nutritional details for ?Mom?s Favorite Meatloaf?, store it in the database and use it over and over again.
4. Mark foods as FAVORITES so you can easily find reoccurring foods.
OS 2003 users may need to convert the database after the install using http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/resources/downloads/pocketpc/databasewizard.mspx
